Our Practice Lineage

One Body Sangha and Eon Zen Center are part of the White Plum Asanga, the teaching lineage founded by Taizan Maezumi Roshi in Los Angeles in 1967. The White Plum Asanga now includes over 200 teachers throughout the world and over fifty practice groups, centers and training monasteries.

Our Founding Teacher, Paul Gyodo Agostinelli, Sensei, received Dharma Transmission in 2015, after 25 years of Zen practice, from his teachers Shishin Wick Roshi and Roshi Shinko Perez. He originally studied with and received jukai from Maezumi Roshi at the Zen Center of Los Angeles.

Gyodo Sensei established Eon Zen Center in 2017 and One Body Sangha in 2025.
